The Plattenhof winery in Termeno/Tramin
Viniculture with a long tradition
To the southwest of Bolzano, one finds the gentle rolling Hills of the Bassa Atesina, the South Tyrolean wine road. In the heart of the oldest wine-growing region of the German-speaking area, surrounded by the idyllic Gewürztraminer vineyards, is where our Plattenhof winery is located. For more than 400 years, the grapes for our award-winning wine have grown here in Sella/Söll, above the wine village of Termeno/Tramin.
The queen of white wines, the main ingredient of our highly fragrant and incredibly intense Gewürztraminer that has already won several awards, grows on an area of about three hectares. The sunny location at 450 metres above sea level and the nutritious soil provide the ideal conditions for this demanding, South Tyrolean vine.
On Mondays, right after dinner, host Werner Dissertori invites you to participate in our wine tasting, where you can taste our own wines as well as the best Gewürztraminers. It goes without saying that we also serve our own Gewürztraminer at the Hotel Plattenhof and in our Restaurant & Pizzeria.
