At home at Hotel Plattenhof, nestled amongst the vineyards
Nestled between sun-drenched vineyards and the emerald-green glimmer of Lake Caldaro/Kalterer See, our hotel in Tramin has been a haven of tranquillity and indulgence since 2018. The spacious rooms are inspired by the grapevine – a tribute to our 400-year-old tradition of winegrowing. We, the Dissertori family, will personally look after you throughout your stay, tell you about our winery, and share our passion for Gewürztraminer, which gives our hotel its character.
Living with a panoramic view over the vineyards
Each of our suites offers a view of Tramin’s vineyards, allowing the landscape to become your constant companion. In the morning, the first light greets you over the vines; in the evening, the sun bathes the hills in a soft golden glow. An atmosphere that blends the indoors with the outdoors and makes everyday life seem a world away.
Wine and design as a common thread
Clean lines, fine woods, and colour tones reminiscent of grape skins and vine leaves: at our hotel, architecture and wine-growing culture blend seamlessly to form a harmonious whole that permeates every room – from the lobby right through to your suite. The basement, which houses the reception, bar, and dining room, symbolises the roots and the vine and is decorated in warm earth tones. The first floor represents the golden white grapes of our Gewürztraminer, while on the top floor the leaves of the vine served as inspiration for the colour scheme and interior design. In this way, the vineyard landscape outside becomes the design inspiration for the temporary home we create for you inside.
