Well-loved are the circular walk around Lake Caldaro, the path through the vine landscapes to Cortaccia/Kurtatsch, the Nature Experience Trail in Termeno, and the high-altitude path in Termeno/Tramin, also known as “Alta Via”. UNESCO World Heritage Bletterbach gorge

400 metres deep and 8 kilometres long – the Bletterbach gorge is one of the highlights while hiking in Bolzano/Bozen and environs. Here, 250 million years of history are visualized in an impressive way. Open from early May to early November.

Rastenbachklamm gorge

Lake Caldaro

Lake Caldaro is the warmest bathing lake in the Alps. The lake is one of the cleanest in Italy. We also recommend the smaller, particularly idyllic Lake Monticolo.
